CRITERIA

Entrants for the UpStart Award need to submit music samples and a career plan. The quality of your recordings is not important. Closer to the final decision there may be an interview process.

The winner will have shown:

• Original musical creativity
• Some experience in performing
• A clearly defined career path, acknowledging that this may not yet have been realised
• A clear plan for the use of a $10,000 grant
